GIVEAWAY ALERT! Baby Bundle Giveaway!

GIVEAWAY ENDS TODAY! :)
Be SURE to Enter!

As you may know, I haven't posted as much lately and there's a HUGE reason why(along with many other reasons...)

I'm PREGNANT!

We are expecting our FOURTH child in June 2013!

Can you imagine? 4 kids!!! I feel completely overwhelmed and excited all at once. Raising kids is a blessing and a challenge. One of those challenges, whether having your first or your fourth, is the BUDGET.

In our experience so far, expenses are always higher than we expect.

That's why this bundle from Perrigo is so awesome!

It's about saving money on essentials for your baby but still getting great products to serve your needs! Trust me, there are A LOT of needs when having your first child, let alone, your fourth!

My Review:

First, I must say, I can not fully test the exact items I was sent because, well, I need the baby to come first ;) With that said, I have used products similar or exactly the same prior to this review.

I received for review:

·         One can of Parent’s Choice Premium
·         One can of Up & Up Advantage
·         One copy of  Save a Bundle: 50+ Ways to Save Big on Baby Gear
·         Baby bottle drying rack
·         Formula dispenser
·         Bottle brushes

THE FORMULA:
My first baby was pretty much a formula baby. I nursed for oh, a total of 1 1/2 months! Yup! Nursing was by far one of the hardest trials I had gone through (up to that point). We tried all different kinds of formula, including different Store Brand Formulas like Parents Choice. It was much more reasonably priced than the leading brands out there. I have not gotten to try out the Up & Up brand yet but I am happy to know about it because I live very close to Target! Love that store!

Here are some details about the Store Brand Formulas.

·         Perrigo Nutritionals store brand baby formula is sold under individual retailer brands, including:
o   Walmart’s Parent’s Choice
o   Target’s Up & Up
·         They are as nutritionally complete as the national brands, yet cost 50% less
·         All store brand formulas meet or exceed FDA standards

FORMULA DISPENSER & BOTTLE BRUSHES ARE A MUST HAVE!!
I have to say, I LOVED the formula dispenser!!! I couldn't believe something SO SIMPLE could make life so much more simple, lol! Just fill in the sections with the appropriate amount of formula for one bottle and dispense when needed. So great for traveling and on the go moms... and lets face it, every mom is pretty much on the go for one thing or another these days!

It should go without saying that cleaning bottles is the more tedious, boring, and sometimes very disgusting  part of raising your child on formula. A bottle brush is also a MUST HAVE! Even if you only use it for pumped milk or for when they get bigger and drink juices. A good brush doesn't have to cost a lot!

BOTTLE DRYING RACK:
I don't know why but I never considered getting one before. Now that I think of it, most are ugly, bulky, or cute and expensive. This one, however, is budget friendly and actually cute! Looking at it, it makes so much sense to me and I am excited to use it in the future!

SAVE A BUNDLE BOOK:
Did you know that the average middle income family spends $14,320 on the baby's first year alone?!! That is astounding! I can't say that I spent that much on my first baby but to be honest, I'm not sure what we spent... that was almost 6 years ago for us! In this book you will find great tips on finding baby gear for less, whether it is the car seat and stroller or crib or it's the diapers wipes and formulas, or of course the never ending wardrobe we(at least this mom) always want to buy for the little one.

My favorite titled chapter: "The Poop on Low-Cost Diapers!" HA!
Little FYI from the book, From a study done, they have found that babies go through 7,000-9,000 diapers from birth to potty training!!! HOLY SMOKES that's a lot of poop! And I can believe it after having 3 of my own! Now take that tip, if you pay 23 cents+ for one leading brand diaper vs's 18 cents per store brand diaper(yes sometimes we couponers can get them for less)... that's $2070 for 9,000 name brand diapers or $1620 for 9000 store brand diapers! Either way it's a lot but you will come away with a savings of $450 when you buy store brand!!! Personally, I have loved using Up & Up diapers. I think they work great on the littlest to the bigger diaper stages too!

OK! OK! NOW for the GIVEAWAY!!!!
