As I have become obsessed with the challenge of living on less and sticking to a budget, I have learned many little tips on how to save more $$$$. I have read books, cut coupons, searched websites, compared prices and so on just so that I can make ends meet and to be able to keep some money for an Emergency fund so I have decided to share a tip a week to anyone out there who wants it(and if you don't, don't read it) and to help remind myself to stay on track with our family budget. The title will always be "Tip of The Week" on How to Live on Less.
So for starters, the tip this week is:
1) Create a budget on paper or on excel for EVERY expense you could possibly have. (this is a very basic step but you have to start somewhere)
2) Clip Coupons...

These are just a few sites with coupons.
The basic rule of thumb when clipping coupons is don't use coupons for anything you wouldn't already buy. Also remember sometimes the store brand is still cheaper than the name brand with a coupon... double check!

My BIG Budget Books are excellent for storing LOTS of coupons. The Lil' ones are great as well. I use a BIG one for all my sunday newspaper coupons and a Lil' one for all the ones I receive in the mail. If you would like help on how to file Sunday Newspaper coupons... see this website http://www.grocerysmarts.com/
