When I married my husband, I would learn just how much someone could LOVE football. LOL! I grew up around football and my dad and brothers really loved it but they only watched the teams they liked.
My husband's family has football down to a science. Of course they watch their favorite teams games but they watch all the others too to see how the playoffs will turn out. Needless to say, no matter who is playing in the Super Bowl, we always have a party (after we get out of church) to watch the game. It's funny because my family never did that, we didn't watch tv on Sundays. As a Thompson(my married last name), it seems to really be about getting the family together and getting the benefit of watching a good football game. I have to be honest, I'm not a huge football fan. I don't watch it accept for a glance here and there but the kids have fun with their cousins and those of us less interested in football get good food and family time.
