I really can't believe how the market is changing so fast! We have talked about it and wonder how long this rise will actually keep up. Real estate forecast shows the St. George market is going to jump 8% over the next year! Perfect timing right? NOT! Unless you are selling of course... for us it's a double edged sword effect.
Oh man, we have been spending a LOT of time ....
1) looking at new listings in our area
2) Zillow Estimates on homes and our condo
AND...
3) planning to ensure we can make the move when the time is right for us.
The thing is, for us we really want to find a home that will fit our family for YEARS and YEARS.... not just 2 years. We have a lot of wants and feel pickier than ever. We are trying to stay level headed and not rush into buying a home just because the market is changing. We are also not wanting to go overboard on price so timing seems to be an issue.
We will be patient until we find "The House" though.
In the mean time, we have tried our best to get our condo completed... yes we have been here for 18 months are just now getting the finishing touches done... So for your enjoyment, here are some before and after photos of the Kitchen... Finally completed! YAY!
